About the work
Rasine An Flèr · Le Corps is the dance version of Rasine An Flèr, refocusing the research on the body, rhythm and movement.
Artistic approach
Locking, krump, house dance, electro and the imaginative worlds of maloya meet in an instinctive, physical and deeply musical choreographic language.
The work develops collective dance shaped by the circle, listening, improvisation and group dynamics.
Pulse · Grounding · Energy · Breath · Circulation: a musical and choreographic score for four dancers.
A project connecting Réunion and Creuse
Rasine An Flèr connects two places shaped by a sensitive history: Réunion and Creuse. Through the encounter between maloya and hip-hop, the work sets memory, rhythm and collective energy in motion, opening a space for healing, re-union and transmission.
The project brings the Réunion roots of maloya into dialogue with hip-hop cultures through a choreographic and musical language driven by rhythm, the circle, improvisation and collective power.
Here, place becomes more than a backdrop: a memory to journey through, a connection to rebuild and a space for collective healing.
Born in Réunion and developed in Creuse, Rasine An Flèr weaves a dialogue between two places, two histories and two ways of passing on knowledge. Through the movement of artists, stories and practices, the project explores memory, roots and the connections that form between people, landscapes and generations.
