A dialogue between forms
Hip-Hopéra offers a hybrid form in which hip-hop vocabulary meets the conventions of the operatic stage. The project brings together voice, dance and dramaturgy to create a collective narrative.
Format
- Stage: A performance space embracing the encounter between two worlds.
- Voice and body: Singing and dancing as equally important artistic materials.
- Transmission: Workshops and encounters centred on the production.
